We aim to adopt the ‘no blame' approach and will attempt to have the ‘bully' reflect their actions and offer some resolution themselves to resolve the situation, eg "Ask her/him to play with me". 

If this approach is ineffective and bullying continues then we shall contact the offender's parents and request their support.  In the majority of instances we find that children respond positively.
